An autumn Conference with Cyclenation (formerly known as the Cycle Campaign Network) will be in Warrington on 15th November.
The theme of the day is ‘Streets Ahead’ and the Conference will look at policy changes to help bring about streets that are safer for all, and how local campaigners can contribute to this movement.
The Conference will feature presentations on campaigning plans for 2009 from CTC, Cyclenation, and Living Streets. During the extended lunch break, there will be a two hour ‘Street Market’ that will allow Conference delegates to explore stalls and attend workshops.
The campaigning potential of 20 mph will be covered in the afternoon session. Warrington Cycle Campaign is the local host, and they will be giving away free copies of their book Crap Cycle Lanes to anyone who registers before 15th October.
