Can I draw your attention to the Big Green Borough Festival? More details on
www.stibasa.org.uk > events. It's on Saturday 13 June at Abbey Green,
Barking. There will be an LCC/Cycling stall as well as Doctor Bike (free
cycle health check) provided by Halfords.

If you can help out at the LCC stall for an hour (or more) that will be
great. Many hands make light work and give volunteers the chance to look
round themselves rather than being on the stall all day. No expreience
necessary as you can always write down any questions and get back to the
enquirer later - or ask me. Do come along and support the event anyway.

Then on Tuesday 16 June we have the tenth "Bygone Barking By Bike" local
history ride. This is a good opportunity to get your friends/family who
don't cycle much out on bikes as it will be a short ride with plenty of
stops. Do try to come and spread the word. I will put a handbill on the
website for you to download and print to display / hand out.
