Hi Joyce.
I am just starting the Hospital Play Specialist Course at Leicester college. I have started my placement (Kettering Hospital) to get some experience. I am aware that we have to do a block placement sometime during the year and i was actually going to contact Brighton's children hospital. The reason i am looking for somewhere away from Peterborough is hopefully different ideas and experience. I am actually from Brighton area but have moved up to the midlands. Alot of the students are doing their placements in the midlands but i would like to do something different. I would be most grateful if you could advise me of who to contact.

The best place to look for vacancies is either on the NHS web site
under job vacancies, or on the NAHPS website. If you are a member
of NAHPS you will periodically be sent information of job
vacancies. Most hospitals will have websites that you can look at
which includes any vacancies they may have. I am the Play Service
Manager at the childrens hospital in Brighton and our last vacancy
appeared on our website and on the NHS website. Good Luck in your
