Hey Shelley, my name katie and I'm doing the course right now at stanmore college as far as i know it is not a course requirement to have those injections( none of us were told to have them done) however if you have the time to get them done i would advice you to.
The course has no exams at all which is wonderful but the work load isn't small by any means. You get marked on course work, journal and observations but you get loads of feedback and support at stanmore college where i am, i've heard that the other colleges aren't as good! It's marked as a pass, merit or destinction.
You also have to do a 200hr placement with a registered play specialist if you are not working in a hosptial.
Any other questions feel free to ask kate

Hey everyone,
I have a question about the course.
How is it marked? is it by assisgnments or exmas or a mixture?
also do you have to have a hep b jab - its a strange question i know
but i'm not the biggest fan of needles, so at least I will know in
advance because I will have to get the jabs done before i apply for the
course.
Thanks,
Shelley
