I'm one of the NAHPS Branch Liaison Officer's and I help people set up and operating networking groups for hospital & community play staff.

What about trying to set up a new Hospital Play Staff group for your area. As far as I know there isn't a group for either South East London or North Kent, which may make a good group area / size. I would write / phone / email play staff from hospitals in this area and see if they would be interested in getting involved.

There is some information about Regional Networking Groups on the NAHPS website www.nahps.org.uk

Must be hard being the only HPS within Bromley are you part of NAHPS as they have have network meetings where the Hps's within the area meet up. I'm in southampton not sure what th e distance is?

It is a nitemare trying to find books to help, Have u tried looking on
Ebay?
Im in the process of re writing a theatre prep book, as the one on my
ward is a little dated, maybe thats a idea for you to try, as Im the
only Play Specialist within Bromley Nhs its gonna take me a while- Im
gonna try a leaflet next.
