teaching session for adult-trained nurses   Message List

Hello all,

I have been asked to conduct a teaching session about the importance of
play in hospital and the role of the play specialist. The audience
will consist of about 8 adult-trained nurses.
I intend to take Daisy Doll to demonstrate preparation of blood
tests/cannulation and some distraction toys to demonstrate good
practice with. I will also be talking about guided imagery with some
case studies.
I wondered if anyone had any other ideas that had worked well that I
could borrow please!

Thank you in advance,
Steph Lockwood
