Heya, I am a level 3 nursery nurse but would really like to do the hospital play
specialism course.
What i would really like is to do the course while working in a hospital
setting, but am not sure how often these kind of opportunities come up.
So i was thinking of trying to gain some work experience shadowing a play
specialist and volunteering during the school holidays (im a term time member of
staff) but wondered how possible this would be. Would play specialists mind
this? I have emailed a big hospital near me but am yet to have a reply!
Any advice would be great!
