Hi Phil I can most likely make you another screw and one area I specialise in is removing screws from awkward places without damage to other components.
Should there not be time to sort now then at least retain all parts from the unit if replaced and I will make replacements for the future if required - especially as it appears to be an inherrant problem with that particular component...

but I think I know the kind of screw you mean. The chrome screw on my Boudet is a screw thread but with a !/2" [approx] serrated wheel set into the plastic bit. If you go to Boudet's web site you will see the tuners on one of his lute-backs. Another problem is that the bottom half of the srew is still in the shaft with nothing to grab onto to get it out.
