Just back from the festival formerly known as Saint Chartier. The best for many years, better site with lots of shade for luthiers, no hippies with drums and dogs, no freeloaders who are only there to get drunk on the free camping [no camping without a festival ticket and no village bar nearby for an alternative festival]. The ambience was excellent so basicaly it has returned to how it was 20 years ago.
Thought you would like to know as many people gave up on it due to the problems.
