Well I'd better answer the questions I asked.
1. I first heard them as a duo at Eden Court in January 2003 when the were plugging the Long December Night c.d.and d.v.d before they were released.
2. Favourite c.d I have heard them on very hard I think it depends on my mood at the time but really I like everything they have done as a duo, solo and with Wolfstone. Agree Bill Unleashed, The Chases and the Half Tail are all great but I really like the live sound on Not Enough Shouting.
3. The Lewis Blue is my stress relief tune of the moment. I put it on and close my eyes (except when I'm driving of course) and it calms me down. Also really like I Will be There beautiful lyrics, The Flower of Kristiansand and Night in that Land The Orkney Anthum, and a couple of the fast sets as well. I should really just have said I like everything!!
4.I have
seen them 4 times as a duo. Twice at Eden Court, Muck and Ballachulish.
Muck was my favourite gig because they played acoustically and the venue in a classroom was just so informal.
5.I would love to hear them play The Lewis Blue live. It is just such a beautiful tune I'm sure everyone would love it and the set that is the 5th track on The Lewis Blue. It is a fast set and I really like the 2nd tune in the set.
6. I will have to think about this.

I _think_ it was Celtic Connections when Ivan was still in Wolfstone.
Can't remember exactly when, suspect 1995 or 1996????
> 2. What is your favourite C.D. you have heard them on?
Can't tie it down to one.
Of the solo work, The Lewis Blue and Redpoint are clear favourites.
Call me a luddite if you will, but I still rate the first two "proper"
Wolfstone albums (Unleashed and The Chase) very highly and still enjoy
them immensely. I listen too these two much more often than the later
Wolstone stuff. Andy Murray's electric guitar was much missed on the
later albums but I'm going OT here :-)
Knowe o' Deil LPs still get regular plays as well, particularly
> 3. What are your favourite tracks and why do you like them?
The Rose of St Magnus and Farewell to Orkney because of my Orkney
connections!
Leaving Stoer because it's such a beautiful piece of music!

Seen then only three times as a duo.

Nothing in particular springs to mind to be honest.

Haven't seen them live for a while and the stories have slipped from my
mind.
