Posthumous concerts

I was a concert promoter for a few years...about 1985 through 1995, or
thereabouts. I was fortunate to have been introduced to Ivan's music
when his then-agent was booking his second tour with Dick Clark. I was
blown away by a live recording from their first U.S. tour and ended up
booking them for that second tour. So it was blind, dumb luck that I
"discovered" him that early on. Not only was he extremely, refreshingly
talented, but he's also a genuinely nice human being. He was a joy to
work with.

I envy you guys who can see them on a regular basis!

Duncan's fiddle playing makes the angels weep. My flawed, mortal soul
could never escape its lure!

I always advocate the use of baby pictures for blackmail. Tell her that
you'll show her boyfriend an especially embarrassing baby picture if
she doesn't learn The Rose of St. Magnus.
