Dear Friend
We are living in very interesting and challenging times. The current
financial situation is having an impact on all sectors of society. As
part of an information gathering exercise the East of England Faiths
Council is surveying friends within the faith sector to see what the real
and perceived impact of the credit crunch is. As well as the financial
impact we are looking at the opportunities and challenges that faith
communities are facing. The results will inform both the work of the
Faiths Council and also be used to guide the work we do with partner
organisations in the region. No individual organisation will be
identified through the final results.
A survey form is attached, which you can either complete and return
on-line by pressing the 'Submit' button; or print, complete, and return by
post. If you wish to submit a paper copy the form should be returned to:
Vanessa Rees - Heaver, The Diocesan Offices, St Nicholas Centre, 4 Cutler
Street, Ipswich, IP1 1UQ.
Please could you return your completed survey by 20 April. We hope to
present the results at our Council meeting on 17 June.
The survey is being administered for the Faiths Council by the Diocese of
St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and if you have any questions please contact
me via email at
graham@... or on 01473 277042.
The Executive of the Faiths Council hope that you will take part, as the
survey will prove very useful to our work. Thank you in advance for your
time.
Kind regards
Graham Hedger
