A reminder that the Cambridge Inter-Faith Group is to hold a Faith Fair
next Sunday, 10 May, from 2.00 to 5.00 p.m. at the Friends’ Meeting
House, Jesus Lane, Cambridge CB5 8BA. The Fair provides an opportunity
for anyone who would like to be better informed about different faiths
to visit the stalls and talk face to face with local people representing
their faith. This can help to correct misconceptions and perhaps
reduce fear and prejudice in the community. So far we have ten
bookings for stalls: Baha’i; Ahmadiyya Muslims; Brahma Kumaris;
Bhakti Yoga/Hare Krishna; Pagan; Jewish Community; Christian Science;
Quakers; Seventh-day Adventists; Subud.
Please come along if you are interested and not otherwise committed.
Entry and refreshments are free, although a contribution towards the
cost of refreshments, room hire etc. would be welcome.
If you can tell other people or advertise the event in other ways, we
would welcome that. I will attach a poster advertising the Fair.
For any further information about the Fair, you could contact me on
ddw@... or Cambridge 276912.
