Dear David,

Thank you for speaking to me just now, as I was saying, The Big Questions,
BBC1's topical ethical debate show, is now well into its highly successful
second series. I'm delighted to inform you that the programme will be
returning to Peterborough on the 6th September and we'd to invite some
members of the Cambridge Inter-faith Group to be part of our studio
audience. I'd be very grateful if you could pass on this message to them.

To give you some background, The Big Questions is the BBC's flagship
ethical and moral debate programme. It is hosted by the experienced
television and radio presenter Nicky Campbell, and airs live on Sunday
mornings from locations all around the country. The show addresses tricky
moral questions facing the nation today, consulting panellists, front row
experts and a select studio audience. Beliefs, informed opinions and
personal stories are all aired during three lively debates. As an audience
member, you may even get the chance to contribute to the discussions
yourself, although due to the number of people in the audience we can't
guarantee this.


Some of the areas we are considering for the debates are:

- Is it time for the Anglican Church to split?

- Was Jesus a Communist?

- Is it possible to have an ethical arms policy?

-Is The Virgin Mary still a good role model?

Please note that these are just ideas at this stage and are liable to change.
