Would it be Nobler ?

If it should be ones providence that the circumstance of events conspired to bring that person the opportunity to follow their heart without any occurrence of prostituting that passion and inner calling, whilst also its conspiring would make all others involved delighted with such an event, and thus live happily ever after, then that is the stuff of dreams come true in an ideal world.

But should it be the case, as it is often the case, that following that desire would assuredly result in desperate circumstances for others involved, then would it be nobler to follow that passion irrespective of circumstances other than that of their own happiness and pleasure, or would it be nobler to have loved, forsaken it, and lost, and forever knowing that one gave up the greatest joy for another cause beyond that of their self ?  Such is but one of the many profound and difficult choices which confront Mankind; and perhaps the most difficult and painful of all the choices which have on occasions to be made. The rest is easy in comparison.

All decisions would be effortless were it not for that innate nagging moral imperative which seeps up from within the deepest depths of our being and infuses our nature where and when it does like a great shadowy tormentor of self pleasure and gratification. And thereby can we judge one from another, not by what they say, but by their actions we know them; and just as we have to come to judge our self also is it done in the scheme of things. The forces which shape your being do not judge you, for there is no need, you do it yourself, for it is structured that way, from the beginning unto the very end of time.
