Peace Child International is performing a musical/oratorio in Ely
Cathedral on Saturday 30th January 2010.
The main theme behind Peace Child - Alpha Omega is that faith should
bring us together rather than divide us. It is suitable for young and
old people, from 10 years and above.
If you are interested, and willing to promote the event, we would
greatly appreciate your help.
We are enclosing a flyer, which can be e-mailed to your network, and,
if asked, we can provide flyers and posters to put on in your venue.
We are also enclosing additional background information.

Saturday 30th January 2010 - 7.30 pm
Andrew Parnell will conduct the Ely Choral Society, together with
choirs from “Witchford Village College and Southfields Junior School,
Peterborough and an orchestra in this powerful piece composed by David
Gordon. Part musical, part oratorio, this “musical conversation”
begins with a catastrophe which forces the story’s four young
characters and the story teller (played by Gemma Craven) to re-examine
their own identities and belief systems as they learn from each other.
Following the performance there will be a question and answer session
with notable faith leaders.
Aimed at both young and old it is part of a broader project sponsored
by the European Union’s Culture Fund involving performances in Tallinn
(Estonia) and Istanbul (Turkey).

He spent 2 years living, traveling, and serving as an attendant to his Guru, Living Buddha Dechan Jueren, while training to become a Dharma teacher. Dan then served as the Vice Abbot of the Los Angeles Dari Rulai Temple for one year. He founded the Las Vegas Dari Rulai Five Buddha Shrine, and presided as Abbot for one year. He is currently the Abbott of the L.A. Dari Rulai Temple.

Talk, meditation and healing with Dan. Esoteric meditation and healing practises are simple (easy to follow) but very strong. No need to book, just turn up.
For those wishing to stay later there will be a powerful bringing forth the light ceremony (or other Dharma rite), probably starting at 7.30pm. This is to empower the newly installed altar in the Sukhmani Centre.
