Heya everyone! I'm so happy- it's finally half-term :) I love having
weeks off school. Anyways, I have upload a review of the film Scooby
Doo which Sarah Michelle Gellar stars in, some more photos (not a
surprise), and 3 midi files of music from BtVS. The review and midis

Hey to our new member Hayley! Hope you enjoy LJs group.
I have added some more photos. I think I have uploaded all the photos
on computer onto the group now. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

I've added some more photos!!! And because of this increase I decided
to reorganise the photos I've put on this Group so now everything is
in a different folder. I just enjoy confusing people by doing that

I've added more photos- not a surprise as I love photos! Some of them
are in a new folder and some are in existing folders so just hunt
around for them if you are interested.

800MB is huge! I don't think my computer could cope. Well I think you
should do it anyway because if it is really good then people will
download it. Like fanfiction, if the story is good then people will
read it.

Ok, now for the update...

I had a vision last week... well, not a vision, a dream... not really
a dream either, more of an inspiration... OK, it was a plain idea,
but listen up 'coz I think you'll like it!  If any of you have
written a book, story or short story (about anything, not just the
greatest show on earth) I will make it into an e-book for you... and
it won't cost you ANYTHING!!  In other words, I'll turn your pages
into a book that you can then give to anyone you want over the
net...or, if you think it's commercial material, SELL it!

Q: Why would I do this??
A: Simple!  You took the time to join my group, some of you even
interacted (or at least tried to :->) with other members you I
decided it was time to do something BIG to not only thank YOU but
encourage other people to join & the silent members to get more vocal!

There's just one catch... ONLY members of THIS group will be allowed
to sell the e-books I make for them for FREE (that means YOU)!

Some people have told me I'm nut's for letting ANYONE sell them for
FREE but hey, 'Tis the season!

There's sooo much I really wanna do with this group but so far other
things have got in the way (mainly ISP's, grrrrrr...!), plus with my
moderator Jo (Kammy) overrun with her own work (she's teaching a
bunch of kids outdoor sports & survival stuff...god help her, lol!)
I've decided to let you lot loose!  You can upload pics & other
files, create bookmarks (links to other sites), create polls, add
events to the calender & even promote this group (if you can be
bothered ;->)!!  One word of warning tho, do not, I repeat, do NOT
delete ANYTHING that's already online or you WILL be booted out!
Capiche?!  If any of the currently listed links are broken just let
me know & I'll deal with it!

Hi again everyone,

The screensaver is up on the web & you can download from the Files
page of the group!  I decided to put the FULL album into the
screensaver since there's different types of music on it (including
the depressing violin love theme of Buffy & Angel...sorry! ;->)!

To install it just double click the .exe file you downloaded & it
will install into the default folder for most screensavers
(C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM).  There's a Read Me file with it too so make sure
you read it.  It works fine on Windows/95/98/98SE/ME, it hasn't been
tested on Windows 2000/XP tho since nobody I know uses either of
them, but it should work fine.

If there are other 'reasonable' suggestions you think you have for
another version let me know & I'll try my best to add them.  And let
me know if you have any problems using the screensaver.

Hi everyone,

I have to admit I've neglected this group over the last year due to
my severe lack of online time (ISP's, shoot 'em all! j/k), but I have
been working on a Buffy screensaver, not only with pictures of the
stars (mainly SMG) & screenshots from Season 6 & Season 7 but music
from the show too!  Ive put some of the best songs from the BtVS
album into the screensaver but remember it's 100% unnofficial so
copyrights need to be recognized to avoid prosection (again with the
shootin' ;->)...I'll take care of that part tho!  I'll hopefully have
it up soon for you to download but the next day I'll be online is
Thursday so I'll let you know then!

Hi everyone,

For those of you who joined LJ's Buffy Chat Forum! you'll have
received my newsletter, for the rest of you it was locked yesterday &
my admin details are being rejected (some corrupted code was used by
the host) & I'm unable to reactivate it!  If I can get it reactivated
I ask the rest of you to join it & help keep it running (it only
locks when nobody posts for a while)!  On the other hand if I have to
re-create the whole thing, which will a while, I ask all of you to
join it & keep posting!

Either way I'll let you know what happens when it happens (the
address will always be ljs-buffy-chat-forum.cjb.com)!

Some people might have difficulty seeing either the black text on red
background or the visited (purple) links on black background, there
is a very easy way for everybody* to personalize all web pages
(including this BtVS fan group) with their preffered text/link
colours**.  Click on the "Tools" menu on the browser,
select "Internet Options..." and click on the "Colors..." button at
the bottom left of the box, from there you can change the default
colours of text/links that appear on all webpages!  You can also add
a 'Hover' effect to links on pages to make them change colour when
you point your mouse to it as well as the default background colour**.

* = The above info relates to users of Internet Explorer 4.0 & up
** = The above will only change the DEFAULT text/link/backgrounds of
web pages, this means that if a page already has code on it to
specify colours to specific text/links/backgrounds they cannot be
changed in any way except by the author & owner of the page, but most
web pages keep the default values.
