Found a tennis ball. Cut it in half with scalpel, cut out doorway. Cobbed it up
with PVA & coated the existing teasel with static grass & fronds of lichen I
harvested in the Gower when I was 10 (Looks very like scrub/brush. I'm back in
the Gower for the first time since then in a fortnight!) Stuck each one on a
seperate upside-down coaster (see previous posts) coated in PVA with added sand,
grit & extra Welsh lichen brush. Sprayed brown, not too heavy, Its OK if a bit
of green teasel shows through (vestigial greenery in the brush)

Captures the whole 'giant compost heap effect' one sees in photos

The whole 2 models out of one ball thing is neat.

Sounds nice. Some photos would be great.

Another aspect of the beauty of the tennis ball is that the plastic is
structurally rigid while being soft to cut.
