Hi Graham
Yes I will be at the conference. Looking forward to it. May see some of the group there too.

Niki, I assume you're coming to our Institute of Fundraising North legacy conference on Sept 16 in Manchester? You're bound to pick up a lot of new ideas and tips, as well as networking with other legacy and In Mem fundraisers.
Regards
Graham

Hi Stacey and the rest of the group.
This is something that I would be very interested in.
As some to you know I have recently (2 months now) been appointed to look after In Mem and Legacy and have just recruited a couple of volunteers (I worked with in my previous job) to liaise with local funeral directors and pass on any literature about our charity. But I am keen on ways we can engage volunteers in promoting legacies too.
To those who gave me info on tribute funds, I’ll email you again shortly. It’s been a manic couple of months.
Niki

Afternoon All,
I'm in the process of developing a training course for our volunteer
fundraisers to get them promoting legacies at a local level.
I was wondering if any of you had any experience of doing this that
you'd be able to share? I'm particularly interested in ideas that
will engage the volunteers and make it easy for them to talk to
supporters about legacies.
Thanks
Stacey
