Hi Stacey
We too are working on this.
Starting point - has there been any useful activity - can you make a link
between any previous volunteer activity (whether structured or not) and a
legacy?
Telling that sort of story can get them inspired...
Then its about thinking who they will be talking to. Cold audience, existing
supporters?
And of course, it depends on your cause - what sort of charity are you with?

Subject: [Legacymarketing] Legacy Fundraising Training for Volunteers
Afternoon All,
I'm in the process of developing a training course for our volunteer
fundraisers to get them promoting legacies at a local level.
I was wondering if any of you had any experience of doing this that
you'd be able to share? I'm particularly interested in ideas that
will engage the volunteers and make it easy for them to talk to
supporters about legacies.
Thanks
Stacey
