fair enough, but how many consultants direct you to their website, display their logo on their e mail?.

I`m fairly relaxed over one or two promoting their services now and again, theres a lot more issues to get het up about.

Having been closely studying the nature of gratitude during the last week, and its effect on me and others, I have to say that I am profoundly grateful to be a member of this group and to benefit from so much wise advice from so many sources. The fact that some of the contributors also happen to be professional consultants is a "forgotten", as far as I'm concerned, because they always share their knowledge and experience so freely, on equal terms with the charities. For one consultant to go further and offer their product and services to the group would be taking an unfair advantage over the restraint and generosity of the others, instead of honouring such.

When this group was first established it was certainly made clear to me as a consultant that I would not use this group as a 'means of selling'

Richard is quite right we can all share our experience and expertise and those of us who have, sorry Richard, been around for longer than many others are happy so to do without turning it into an obvious sales pitch.

Once again I do not believe that an email group, sharing expertise and asking questions which challenge and inform us all, should be used as a sales tool. Such an unsubtle approach destroys genuine comradeship and mutual understanding.
