Re: Thanking executors

Hi everyone,

I agree with the advice, and I always try to find the executor and write to them or ask the solicitor if they would be happy to pass on a letter. Also think of it from the executor’s point of view – if I’m the executor of my partner’s will and I carry out their wishes to leave a gift to charity, I think I’d expect a pretty great letter in return! J I would then be much more inclined to support them myself as a way of honouring the deceased.

Together is a leading national charity working for wellbeing: that means we support people with mental health needs to get what they want from life and to feel happier. We do this by running a range of services across the country; by campaigning and doing research; and by educating local communities about their own mental health needs. In everything we do we are inspired and guided by the hopes and wishes of the people we support.

One in four people will experience mental distress during their lives. If you would like to support our work, please click here www.together-uk.org/donation
