scheduled for 1st October, 2-5pm at Mencap (Golden Lane, EC1Y 0RT).

I agree with the advice, and I always try to find the executor
and write to them or ask the solicitor if they would be happy to pass
on
a letter. Also think of it from the executor's point of view - if I'm
the executor of my partner's will and I carry out their wishes to
leave
a gift to charity, I think I'd expect a pretty great letter in return!

I would then be much more inclined to support them myself as a way of
honouring the deceased.
