Dear friends of Stationers Park,
You will doubtless be aware of the forthcoming Carol Concert in the Park on Sunday 16th December at 5pm - see attached poster.
This will be the third year for this very popular event and this year's beneficiary is quite rightly the Park itself. The monies raised may be a drop in the ocean of what's needed to fix the Fort and water feature, but it will keep the 'Friends' fighting fund afloat as the campaigning process heats up.
What we are crying out for is volunteers to make lashings of hot chocolate and mulled wine' along with mince pie donations aplenty' for sale on the night. And of course people to staff the tables to serve and sell it. Stage builders also required at 3pm for a brisk hour's light workout!!
FoSP would really appreciate your offer of help and look forward to your willing responses to this e-mail, hopefully by end Sunday, so we can take stock of the abundant help on offer and begin planning.
Your Park needs you like never before!
