Dear All
On my visit to our local post office - Weston park, this week I have asked the man behind the counter if they have a petition I could sign, to which he answered that THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COLLECT PETTION SIGNATURES. But he handed me an official post office leaflet dealing with the issue at hand.
The leaflet outlines the consultation, which is now ongoing and will end on the 2nd of April.(2.4.08)
If you want to object to the closure of a branch near you need to write in!
Signing petition on the lib dem site might be good ammunition for our MP to do something about it, but I am not sure the post office will know anything about it or have any regard to it.
If you want to object in any meaningful way I guess you will need to follow the leaflet instruction and write in to:

If any one does write a good letter please share here with others so they can easily cut past and email their version on.
Hope this is helpful
Best Wishes
