LunePagans is a group set up for Pagans, Neo-Pagans and like-minded folk in the Lancaster and Morecambe areas and further afield. E.g, Druids, Goddessians, Gaians, Heathens, Magicians, Neo-Shamans, Occultists, Polytheists, Pantheists, Reconstructionalists of old pagan religions, Wiccans, Witches... etc... and anyone interested in these and similar traditions of spiritual, religious and/or magical beliefs and practices.
The 'Lune' name, comes from the Lune river and the Lune Valley. The group was born out of the ending of the Brigantii Moot and its website and yahoo group, to
- provide a space for general chat
- share information about local events and groups for folk who might be interested in going along.
- discuss setting up new groups and / or organising new events in the area. So far there is:
LUNE PAGANS MOOT
Second Friday of every month, 8.30pm, The Three Mariners Pub. Come along, there will be our name on a sign on the table, and we are a small but friendly and diverse group.
The Three Mariners is the oldest pub in Lancaster, one of the oldest in the county, dating back to the 13th Century. It is between St Georges Quay on the Lune River and the Bus Station and taxi rank, and a short walk from the train station.
Address - The Three Mariners Pub, Bridge Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1EE.
