This is a list for Roman and Greek Pagans, and their very open minded Catholic friends in the Chicago area, who'd like to see the Lupercalia/Mardis Gras celebrated here, as well as it is in New Orleans, but with an added spiritual/humanistic dimension. We are interested in the fertility festivals. (Note : while sexual mores are relaxed at these festivals, they are not mass orgies, lurid fantasies to the contrary notwithstanding. They are devoted to childbirth, and passion, not intercourse. And partying. Definitely partying). Membership is by invitation only. One is not admitted as an individual, but as part of a couple.
