Terri,
I've had the same experience! I've had 4 cavaliers on pimobendan and their quality of life improved so much !

I hope you guys don't mind. I just joined your website and I don't
have a Cavalier. I have an eight year old Chin girl with MVD and
you guys have helped me already.
About a month ago, she was on Enacard and Lasix, wouldn't eat - I
had to forcefeed her baby food - and I was at the point where I
thought this was the end... then I saw Darcy's website and read
about Pimobendan.... and a miracle happened. My vet found a place
that would overnight the drug and within 2 weeks, she was eating
baby food on her own, and now she's eating regular food on her own,
and is eating like a horse!
I know I can't get my hopes up and I really try not to .... I need
to go day by day, but even though she still coughs on exertion and
occasionally without, she has twice the energy she had and feels
much better, I can tell. So thanks to Darcy's owners she has much
improved quality of life... and me too!
Roxie is currently on Pimobendan twice a day alone.... I didn't
think the Enacard helped and of course, the Lasix is just for when
she has fluid buildup -- she had it in her lungs back in August....
