Dear all
I am sorry to say that I am moving away to pastures new. I have
accepted a job in the South West and am due to start work on 6th
June. This of course means that I have to give up quite a few things
I have taken upon myself to get involved with: Secretary, Standard
Bearer, Caseworker and Poppy Appeal Organiser for the Village Branch
of the British Legion, Committee Member of the Residents
Association, Flag raiser for St Oswalds Church. Plus several
responsibilities within Leeds District and the County - again
British Legion stuff.
Because of my departure I seem to be leaving Methley Branch RBL on
the brink of closure, unless someone else takes up where I left off.
To this effect the Branch are to hold an "Extra-Ordinary Meeting" on
Weds 22nd June at 7.30pm (at the Legion) to discuss what happens
next.
I will be sad to leave Methley but I am afraid to say that a job
comes first on my list of priorities.
Hope to see friends etc on my visits back in the future.
Regards....Kevin
