Following the resignation, due to pressure of work and family
commitments, of our secretary, we are hoping to find someone else who
would be interested in taking on this job. Could this be you do you
think? We would like someone who is interested in the village and
its history, who could take minutes at our occasional business
meetings and preferably who could take a real interest in the Archive
by attending our regular Monday morning sessions whenever possible
Owning and being able to use a computer would be an advantage.
We have a session every Monday from 10am to 12 noon except for Bank
Holidays. We ask people to bring any photos, documents etc relating
to Methley and we copy these onto our computer. Our web site is
updated regularly. Our Monday sessions are also social events and
anyone is welcome to come and browse, chat and have a cup of coffee
with us.
