Do You Remember When You Could Get A Doctors Appointment?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #81 of 1792 |
Hi All, Well do you?

Do you remember going into Dr Palmers on Pinfold Lane and there were
only you and maybe a couple of other people in there?

Now if your ill it's like pulling teeth when you ring the surgery,
and god forbid if you ring on Monday morning!!!! You ring a minute
after they open and all the appointments have gone!!!!
And you know what the first thing the receptionist is going to say, "
is it an emergency?" if it was an emergency I'd have rung an
Ambulance!!!!, next question, "what is the problem?", since when did
the receptionist become a Doctor!!!!!,next question " You could try
on Friday but I can't book it now, but if you ring first thing Friday
morning "

FRIDAY MORNING
" I'd like an appointment",
Reply, " Is it an emergency?"
"AAAARRRRGGGGGGG!!!!!"

How come we have umpteen Doctors and only ever one working?
What are all those other rooms for?

And is it just me or do any of the Doctors know how to say goodbye,
I'm always left sitting there never knowing whether he/she has
finished talking or not.

I hear what you're saying! I think everybody has experienced something similar at the surgery at some point! There are things that wind us all up...
