Dear All,

One thing that we could try to
work on in this group is creating some definitive
lists of things relating to Minix.

Although much
of this has already been started or brought nicely
together by Pat, it can be probably be added to and new
areas tackled.

I know some of you are
particularly keen on colours and are already expanding on the
colours listing in Pat's volume 2, but how about listing
the Illustrated leaflets and price lists?

To
Start the ball rolling on this one I know of two colour
leaflets showing Minix cars.

The first one is the
back page of the second 'Model Land Construction Kits
Leaflet' which shows illustrations (Not Photographs) of RC
1 to 11.

The second is the double sided
'Minix Motor Show' leaflet RC50/39337E/67 which shows
individual photos of the whole range of fifteen cars, the
van, the bus, the caravan and four twin packs RC25 to
RC 28 inclusive.

Are there any others that
anyone knows of?

There are dedicated Minix price
lists dated January-April 1966, 27th July 1966 and Ist
January 1968, but there must be others as
well!

Minix was also listed in various Model Land price
lists, but that can be looked at later.

Over to
you.....

Best wishes,
James

Does any one have any pictures of the 3 trailers that were made for the Minix cars to tow. I have never seen any exmaples of the car carrier or ladder trailer....
Dear All,

I have a boat Trailer that I use on my Tri-ang Minic Layout at shows. It came from a playpack I received as a child with the orange tent....
MINIX TRAILERS

Thanks to James Day for his useful info.

Just how many of the trailers have survived and still exist?

James has a boat and...
Thanks for the swift information. I managed to obtain a boat trailer off Ebay a few months ago and i am surprised to find out how rare it is. I imagine it will...
Dear All,

Many thanks to Phil & George for thier responses.

It would be interesting to know what one might be expected to pay for any of the ...

Great Idea James! Thank you for your input. I have created a new album "Leaflets & price lists" with the intention of unloading my copy of the ModelLand ...
