Since I last sent round a circular on 17 February, lots more links
have been added to the New Testament Gateway
(NTGateway.com). For your interest:
On the Greek NT Gateway, Learning New Testament Greek
section (http://www.ntgateway.com/greek/learning.htm), there's a
new link to Michael Haggett's introductory Greek course. Although
not complete -- for that one has to buy a CD-ROM -- it is one of the
best introductions currently available on the web.
On the Gospel and Acts page Books and Articles section
(http://www.ntgateway.com/gospels/articles.htm), I've added a link
to a complete on-line version of F. F. Bruce's classic "The New
Testament Documents", which went through several editions, of
which this is the fifth from 1960.
On the Historical Jesus pages (http://www.ntgateway.com/Jesus),
still the most popular part of the New Testament Gateway, I've
added a link to James Bacon's "Jesus Archive", an expanding, up-
to-date site focusing on scholarly resources on the Historical Jesus
and related topics.
On the General Resources pages, Introduction and Learning
(http://www.ntgateway.com/resource), there's a new link to the
Introduction to the Bible Hypertext from Chowan College -- a kind of
NT Introduction made up solely of hyperlinks.
Stephen Carlson's recent NTS article on "Clement of Alexandria
on the 'Order' of the Gospels" has been linked on the Synoptic
Problem articles page
(http://www.ntgateway.com/synoptic/articles.htm).
Finally, Pamela Eisenbaum on "Is Paul the Father of Misogyny and
AntiSemitimism", a recent article in Cross Currents, has been
linked from the Paul articles page
(http://www.ntgateway.com/paul/books.htm) and the Women and
Gender articles page
(http://www.ntgateway.com/women/articles.htm).
You can navigate your way to any of these from this email, or, if
you prefer, you can go to the Logbook
(http://www.ntgateway.com/logbook.htm).
A reminder that the New Testament Gateway restructure and
redesign is currently underway. Any comments and feedback are
gratefully received. The Guestbook has also been moved and I'm
gradually updating all the links on the site. 1-2-3 Webtools who
used to host the Guestbook have now merged with Bravenet and
this involves some changes.
Please continue to send your suggestions, encouragement, broken
links, general feedback -- all gratefully received.
With best wishes
Mark Goodacre
