You might have wondered what has been happening with the New
Testament Gateway over the summer. Unfortunately, I've simply been
too busy at work and home to update it with the regularity you've
been used to over the last five years. My major web project recently
has been the complete reworking of the Department of Theology web
site here at the University of Birmingham; please have a look. I've
also been keeping the British New Testament Society web pages up-to-
date ahead of our conference in Cambridge in September. Combined
with this, I'm currently in the process of moving house. But the
dust should be settled soon and I'll have a bit more time to devote
to the NT Gateway.
The good news is that this short vacation for the New Testament
Gateway has meant that there is a real build up of good web resources
for you. September's Featured Links are now available at the usual
address:
http://NTGateway.com/featured
There are four excellent new sites here, the Biblical Manuscripts
Project (featuring images of the whole of Codex Bezae on-line!),
full on-line version of the Bible Translator (fifty years' worth,
from 1950-2000), IVP Commentaries available on-line at the Bible
Gateway and the Josephus Desktop from Steve Taverner.
I've made a few cosmetic changes to the site too, and have continued
the process of updating links and deleting dead ones. Thanks for your
patience and see you again soon.
