I've set up a new weblog at the above URL. For those of you
unfamiliar with weblogs or "blogs", the idea is that the blogger
posts information of interest regularly to the weblog; I've heard it
said that weblogs proliferated after the tragic events of September
11 2001; if you'd like to read more about them, see the Blogger web
site at http://new.blogger.com/home.pyra.

I was inspired by Jim Davila's fine Paleojudaica weblog at
http://paleojudaica.blogspot.com/ to have a go at a New Testament
related one myself. I've linked it in directly to the NT Gateway so
that you can visit the weblog whenever you visit the New Testament
Gateway. I am hoping that it will make the business of keeping the
NT Gateway up to date a little easier. I'm scrapping the old clunky
"logbook" and will instead put all new updates, along with any other
items of potential interest to scholars and students of the New
Testament, in the weblog. I'd be happy to receive contributions of
items of interest -- new publications, new web sites, items from the
media, etc. -- at blog@.... Please note that I cannot
guarantee inclusion of everything I get sent.

The NT Gateway will continue to run as before; the weblog simply
adds a fresh dimension to it and allows me to channel information
about updates to one place. I will keep this mailing list (which
currently has 2289 subscribers) for major updates and will commit
myself, as before, to write to you no more frequently than monthly.
