The National Coordinating Meeting provides a political space for groups and individuals (in the UK) committed to the lifting of economic sanctions against Iraq to share information and ideas, and to develop joint actions. We meet every six weeks or so, hosted by different groups around the UK. We have called National Days of Action, and we organised a National Petition (16,000 signatures) in mid-1999. The NCM is not a coalition or an organisation, but somewhere for groups to meet together to cooperate and coordinate with each other.
