Hi folks my brotherinlaw and i went out to the Wide Welland at Crowland bridge, both of us had a fish each mine was the biggest at around 5lbs but i am not complaining a pike is a pike to me.
These fish make the biguns special!
On the other side of the river to me just off to one side a couple of young lads with their father caught a pike upto around the 8 to 10lb bracket i was chuffed to see them catch it! but there father was'nt very attentive to them through out there short session, but what really got me was that he eventually decided to get off his rear end and help them unhook the fish ,he then returned this Pike with an under arm swing!!!!
I did shout over and advise him of his error but he either did'nt hear me or ignored me! his kids did look up but if they got the drift or not i do not know .
Tightlines
