I think the best thing for you do is to try and and find some where else to fish.
The best place to find new places is your local fishing tackle shop or reading magazines
like Anglers Mail and Improve your course fishing.
The pike fishing in the east midlands this year has not been to bad.

in Pike for the last 5 or so. This year has been VERY desperate for
fish. 6 runs and 4 landed in the last 8 sessions. York and it's
surrounding area's seem to be very off form this year.
I've tried dead baiting and live baiting. Baits have been roach, rudd,
mackeral and lampery. I've tried ledgering, troting and stret-pegging
in the river, ledgering and float-ledgering in the lakes.
What am I doing wrong???
