The following email was from Biff Bang Pow Records about the Mod Aid

Hi everyone,

Less than a week to go now until the Mod Aid 20 single is recorded,
so here's the latest details: -

Jones & Mick Cohen)

Schedule: Ed plans to get the drums & bass (plus guide guitar) down
quickly on Saturday (hence both songs will be in their original keys
and arrangements – except for extended choruses at the end of each),
followed by guitar and keyboards. He's looking to get onto lead
vocals by mid afternoon (Saturday) with the backing vocals/chorus on
Saturday evening and Sunday morning, followed by mixing.

Video: Ed Ball has arranged for the weekend to be filmed for a "Fly
On the Wall" documentary and promotional video for the single, and
has asked that all participants arrive suitably Mod attired.

Press: We are getting strong interest from Mojo, Uncut, NME, FHM and
Record Collector – thus, please be aware that these publications may
be present over the course of the recording weekend.

Saturday Night: Rob Bailey of the New Untouchables (one of our
sponsors) has kindly offered all contributors free admission to his
Majik Potion Club on Saturday night (10 pm to 3 am).

Contact/Attendance Details: For all those that have not already done
so, could you please let me have a mobile telephone number for your
band and a list of band member's names who will be attending.

If you have any further questions of queries then please call me on
07743 808756.

See you next weekend.

Kind regards,

Paul Hooper-Keeley
