Scrith has the tensile strength of intra-atomic bonds, and GP hull
material is apparently even stronger-- or at least harder, as when the
shadow square wire was used to tow the /Liar/ it didn't abrade the hull.
However, it seems unlikely that whatever covers or fills the various
holes in a GP hull (airlock, etc) would be able to contain the
explosion. And can't fusion points reach millions of degrees? A nuke
may well exceed a GP hull's temperature limit.
