Hey - no problem. a lot of the guys on this list have been in the hobby for a long time. RWRPG came out in 1983 (or was it 1984 - can't remember). It cost me £25 back then. :-) Most of us are diehard BRPers (with a few going over to Heroquest after the demise of Runequest some years back - though that's now back in print in a new form via Mongoose Publishing). Mongoose may publish an SF set of rules yet - wouldn't put that past them. Others on the list may comment if they feel free to do so. I used to play AD&D back then as well and enjoyed the old hack and slash. I know that 3rd Edition D&D is meant to be a lot less hack and slash with the introduction of the skills structure (something almost completely missing from 1st ed AD&D - I think it was touched upon in 2nd edition). Some friends of mine still run games of D&D occasionally but I'm not a great fan of the 3rd edition game as a GM. No problem as a player.
