Hi Alistair,
Folloowing on from your mail, Marcruiser and Quicksilver are the same, Quicksilver is the recommended parts for All Mercruiser Engines.
If you want to stick to Mercruiser parts, I would get your anodes from a Mercruiser official engineer.

Thanks for the reply,
I have had no luck logging in to the Web site you gave me, however i
shall phone and try speaking to them direct.
Yes, the engine is still under warranty, and even if not i'm more
likely to use Genuine parts only. What suprised me is are you
saying that Mercruiser and QuickSilver are the same company??? So
Anodes from Merc are the very same as QuickSilver's???
Thanks again.
Alistair.

I
would think Magnesium would be a little more, but would have to
check. These are factor parts NOT Mercruiser (Quicksilver) parts.

Mercruiser (Quicksilver) parts as any other would void the warranty.
