Graham,
Thanks for the advise, we have just instructed our marina to fit a vetus unit, he cut the hole on Friday and was surprised how thick the hull was, thanks again.
We have also removed the radar arch, and have no intentions of refitting it, do you know of anyone who would be interested in it.

There is no problem fitting a bow thruster to a Rinker 270, the last one we had done cost the owner Pounds 3300 incl.VAT.Make sure they fit a good quality unit.RegardsGrahamRinker DirectEastbourne UK----- Original Message -----From: wendy_burroughsTo: Rinkerboats@...Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 7:27 PMSubject: [Rinkerboats] New MemberHi
We have just purchased a Rinker Fiesta Vee 270, it's a great idea to
be able to have contact with other users, we also have had some
useful
info on our boat and advice from Trevor at Rinker Direct.
Our boat is to be used on the Great Ouse, one question I have is:-
has
anybody had experience of fitting a bow thruster on a 270, if so does
the boat sit in the water low enough to enable the thruster fitted in
the front locker, bearing in mind it has to sit 4" below the
waterline.
We have not had the boat in the water yet and am not sure how low she
sits,& we will not bother until next season.
Looking foward to some great boating
