The Vetus unit is a good one. The Rinker hull is thick by comparison to other brands, it is a genuine sea boat capable taking very rough sea's. We sell quite a lot of 270 without the radar arch, because many people want the ability to cruise down rivers where they might have low bridges. I doubt you will find anyone to buy the arch.
I think you mentioned  not launching your boat until Spring, so be sure to have it properly winterised.

Thanks for the advise, we have just instructed our marina to fit a vetus unit, he cut the hole on Friday and was surprised how thick the hull was, thanks again.
We have also removed the radar arch, and have no intentions of refitting it, do you know of anyone who would be interested in it.

There is no problem fitting a bow thruster to a Rinker 270, the last one we had done cost the owner Pounds 3300 incl.VAT. Make sure they fit a good quality...
