Hi

I have an question about a 2000 Rinker Captiva 192 BR. It has a 4.3L
190 HP engine fitted.

I want to install a fishfinder instead of the original Lowrance
deptfinder. I want to keep the existing transducer and place a new one
20 till 30 cm in front of the old one,

I am deciding what kind of transducer to buy and therefor i need to
know the follwing things:

How thick is the hull in the bilge on the lowest point? And how thick
is it near the battery? Maybe i want to install a in-hull type but
that depend on how thick the hull is.
The throug-hull type i want to install in the bilge near the litlle
pipes that transport the watter from the ski locker.

Is this a fully polyester hull or a cored one?

Any of you guys have some exeprience with a in-hull transducer??
