I have just got back from East Anglia
where I went to a funeral yesterday using public transport – it took me 3
hours longer than it should have done on account of weather, engineering works
and inexplicable (at least unexplained) service revisions from
Paddington. It is throwing down slush, I’m very tired and I have to
go to
I hope that these are all acceptable
excuses for my absence in 40 minutes time. L I’d
much rather have been with you than doing all this stuff (as you may imagine).
