how about a mixture of the suggestions like "Tamesis folk voices" ? its a hard one. Do you know when we are performing? as in either Saturday or Sunday? I really really really hope it isn't sunday. Holly

see history below and if you google there are no other groups with this name which may help ?!?!
Not my knowledge but I liked the history behind the word and the association with harmonious architecture?
PS - If possible can I add another 2 to the lunch and pay accordingly - if this is a problem let me know and I will bring their's - Thx

Hello everyone
I'm getting desperate now - we really need a name for the choir!!
Steve and I had a brainstorm this afternoon (we took 'Oxford' as a starting point), here are the best we came up with:
Rising Voices Rising Folk Tamesis (old name for River Thames) Hedena (old name for Headington) ... for either of these add 'Community Singers' / Choir / whatever Shotover Singers
Any other suggestions? Preferences?
Please please reply to this message or else we're going to end up in the programme as 'Oxford Folk Festival Community Choir' which just sounds a bit dull..!
