WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS. People have known for years that making a list of goals is the best way to achieve them. Why is that? First, getting your goals in writing can help you clarify what you really want to do. You might find you have some important and some frivolous goals. That is OK. You’ve got space for 43 Things on your list. Not every one of them has to change the world (but save room for the ones that might). GET INSPIRED. What do you want to do with your life? It is not an easy question to answer – and you shouldn’t have to answer alone. Browse 43 Things to find out what others want to do. You might find some goals you share. Click the “I want to do this” button to add a goal to your list. Got an idea for a new goal? Just type it in the text box on the homepage or at the bottom of any page on the site. Bam. Now, it’s your thing. SHARE YOUR PROGRESS. We all have stories about what we care about. Writing down your progress on a goal can help someone else learn about something you both want to do ...

School of Galactic Radio Astronomy (SGRA) North Carolina USA
SGRA was developed with support from the STScI IDEAS program to offer students in grades 8-12 a unique, live, hands-on, inquiry based approach to learning through Internet control of a 4.6 meter radio telescope (nicknamed Smiley) located at Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI). The radio telescope is designed to detect 21-cm radio waves emitted by the center of our galaxy and its spiral arms, supernova remnants, regions of star formation and other celestial sources. Students and teachers make the decisions: from source selection, to pointing the telescope, to taking the measurements.

Smoking Gun Research Agency (SGRA)
Truth, Fact and Understanding. The Smoking Gun Research Agency (SGRA) was established in 1997 as an organization to conduct scientific-based investigation and serious research on "fringe topics" such as paranormal and unexplained phenomena, the rumored existence of strange creatures, and the controversial aspects of our government. One unique aspect of the SGRA is the fact that it investigates all of these topics, rather than centering on one in particular. A highly qualified, active, and professional staff make up the administration of the SGRA. Most of the SGRA staff members have had their own personal experiences, but all have come together to engage in the exploration of these topics. Staff members conduct field investigations and represent the organization at events and programs, but also run the day-to-day operations such as communications, website content, newsletter layout, etc. Individuals may become staff members through training and participation in the group.
