SIAMulations on Linux!   Message List

A few months ago I took advantage of a PC magazine cover disk to load
a version of Linux (Ubuntu) on a spare hard drive, and I've played
with it occasionally since. Since following a crash last week that's
the only working drive on that machine, I thought I'd have another
play, so I installed DOSbox. I'm pleased to be able to announce that
as far as I can tell all our simulations work fine in that environment!

If you're running with DOSbox, you should find that just pressing
Alt+Enter switches between a window and full screen.

If speed seems to be a problem, particularly with Carlisle, try
Googling on "speed dosbox" for some tips on how to improve it.

Best wishes,

Tim.
