There are things the instructions don't say (about what we can do,
and when), so we can have the fun of finding them out for ourselves.
Hints: when you command a movement, you may get the response: That
Isn't Possible. This can mean one of three things (according to
circumstances):-
- Don't be stupid
- Sorry, not in one move, try it by stages (one example that is in
the instructions: the engine in say P4 (buffer stop end) whose only
possible move is to P4 (outer end))
- Not now, try again later
When you send the shunter to PY, look for the words that appear under
Ponsandane Yard. Watch how they change over time.

P.S. There is one sentence in the instructions that, to be very
pedantic, isn't quite right. It says, "To move stock or a shunter to
the yard...". What it should say is, "To move the shunter to the
yard - with or without ECS (empty carriage stock) -..."
